Join with our family to help build the Selah Family House on the Carefarm
We are a bereaved family who recently lost our beloved son, brother, and nephew. We found Dr. Joanne and the Carefarm in the most desperate days of our grief and have direct experience of the healing power of being on the land, with the rescue animals, while honoring our grief, ourselves and each other.
Here our grief is welcomed, our loss is honored, and we are learning to live compassionately with our loss.
Daniel John suffered with seizures for over 27 years and despite his health challenges, he etched such incredible meaning out of his too-short life.
Our family has been so deeply moved and directly affected by the healing care Joanne gives grieving families at the Carefarm. Like Dan, we wish to etch meaning out of our loss and gift forward to all those wishing to come to find their path through grief.
Our family – Venessa, Allen, Craig, and Anika Rose – have created the Daniel John Coleman Memorial Fund to help build the Selah Family House. Please join with us to begin building this home where families and those grieving can come to receive respite and care.
For the next 3 months, we will match your donations dollar for dollar up to $60,000, with our goal being to raise $120,000 to add to the nearly $150,00 raised to date.
Let’s Build Together! Please donate today.
