Volunteer, Moderator of these forum boards: Subsequent Pregnancy and The Beauty of Breastfeeding

My Name is Sinéad Williamson and I live in Dublin, Rep of Ireland. My main profession is project development in the NGO sector, most notably in the fields of infant health, maternity rights and breastfeeding advocacy. I'm currently working from home as a freelance web and graphic designer and I'm going back to college to study design and photography. I'm 33 years old and I have two beautiful boys; Matthew and Seán.

I found MISS in October 2000. My second son Adam was stillborn on the 27th September 2000. I had suffered a complete placental abruption in the early stages of labour. The shock and sadness was immense. The MISS forums were my lifeline in those times, helping me through the worst of days and showing me I was not alone in all this. I am honoured to moderate the subsequent pregnancy and breastfeeding boards, where I hope to give a little back of all MISS has given me. I also act as MISS liaison/facilitator for Ireland.

"Don't worry about the future; or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing bubblegum. The real troubles in your life are apt to be things that never crossed your worried mind; the kind that blindside you at 4pm on some idle Tuesday."
- Mary Schmich
