Sara Weaver-Lundberg

Hello, my name is Sara Weaver-Lundberg. I am the mother of six wonderful children; Meggan, Beth, Evan, Isabelle Roo, Micah and Liam. My three older children belong to me because I married the love of my life, who happened to be their father. They have brought one granddaughter and one grandson into our lives. Micah and Liam are twins and they are the same age as our grandchildren! Miss Isabelle Roo is the reason I am affiliate with the MISS Foundation.

After many years of infertility, I became pregnant with “Baby Roo” during my second round of IVF cycles. I was given a less than 1% chance of ever conceiving and having a child. While my pregnancy progressed, we found out that we were having the girl we had named and prayed for before I was even pregnant. Her name was to be Isabelle, which meant “promised by God”. We didn’t even know the meaning when we choose the name. It was a beautiful pregnancy! Everything was progressing so nicely. Then between weeks 28 and 29 we had a measurement that was concerning. We were told that our Isabelle had some major problems and she probably wouldn’t live much longer. She was born at 38 weeks, 4 days in a labor room that was full of friends and family. I was surrounded by laughter, joy and encouragement as I birthed her into this world. A world that she was not meant to be a part of for very long. She was born with gobs of black hair (her daddy said her hair was born 2 and ½ hours before she was!) and beautiful brown eyes. She had poor muscle tone lung development, although she was so beautiful in every other way. She was put on life-support and sent to the ICU where we got to know her for about 16 hours, after which she passed from her Earthly Father’s arms to her Heavenly Father’s arms. She touched the hearts and lives of so many people and she taught us many beautiful lessons during her short life.

Amazingly, Micah and Liam were created from the same IVF cycle as Isabelle. Then they were frozen, then moved, then thawed and then finally born exactly two years to the day after I found out I was pregnant with our sweet Isabelle.

I received my BS in accounting at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and became a CPA shortly after graduation while working for a public accounting firm outside of Raleigh, NC. I am certified in the states of NC and WA as a CPA. I am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, NC Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the WA Society of Certified Public Accounts, the Golden Key National Honor Society, the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. I am currently a co-owner and manager of a structural steel fabrication company and machine shop that operates out of Spokane, WA on projects in several states including WA, ID, MT, OR, CA, AL, and HI.

I adore working and spending time in the healing gardens my husband and I have created through out our yard in memory of Baby Roo. I also love to spend time at the lake and with my incredible friends and family.
