Kara Thieleman, LMSW, Grief Counselor at MISS Phoenix

Kara Thieleman, LMSW, has a B.A. in sociology and anthropology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, where she also studied psychology. She completed her MSW and Certificate in Trauma and Bereavement at Arizona State University.

A former clinical intern with the MISS Foundation, Kara now works part-time as a grief counselor. She is grateful to all who have allowed her to walk with them on their journeys and to share their joys and sorrows.

Kara has a background in mindfulness practice, including meditation, and enjoys backpacking, hiking, yoga, and reading.
