HOPE Mentor
Jennifer Soos

My name is Dana Merkling, Mama to Justin Merkling, my son. His death, on May 30 2008 is a direct reflection of who I am today and clearly defines the journey I now follow in his loving memory. Blessed to be embraced by the MISS Foundation and family at a moment in time that saved my own life. I am honored and humbly offer my love and support as a HOPE Mentor.

My background professionally has been in Sales and Marketing and my strong and articulate communication skills will prove to be essential in the role I now accept with grace to help other Mama's with their grief and loss. My devotion and commitment as a Mother provides the experience needed to offer this gift to others. My life has always evolved around my church, friends and family that has enriched my deep love of children and my resource now, as I move towards this role as a HOPE Mentor.

I now reside in Surprise Arizona, near my Grandson, my son's son who has been an intricate part of my healing these past three year, in regards to the loss of my own son. I know my son is proud of where I am in this journey and I feel his presence gently moving me forward to continue on in his memory and enrich the lives of others.
