Co-Facilitator – DC Metro MISS Support Group

Kara JonesIn 2004 Alicia's first child Brody Christopher was stillborn at 37 weeks after she was involved in a car accident. She sought out the MISS Support Group soon after was so relived to find a group she could connect with and help her with the intense anger, guilt, and overall sadness she was feeling. She attended the meetings on a regular basis before moving to the Northeast with her family.

Upon moving back to Northern Virginia she decided to become involved with MISS again as a Facilitator to provide support to families in their journeys. Helping others and sharing his story is how she stay's connected to Brody and his legacy that he left for her and her family.

Alicia now lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, daughter Hailey, and son Christopher. She works as a Recreation Program Coordinator for a local Parks and Recreation Department.
