In April of 2008, during a routine 18 week ultrasound, my twin boys were diagnosed with Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome. Four days after their diagnosis, Gabriel lost his TTTS fight during fetal laser surgery. Nine weeks later I delivered Samuel, 14 weeks too soon. Samuel lived for 17 days and passed away from extreme prematurity.

Currently I live in Phoenix and attend monthly support group meetings. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, listening to music, and volunteering with the MISS Foundation. It is important for me to provide bereaved parents with support needed after encountering a life changing experience.
